It’s that time of year again when embrella partners with the New Jersey Division of Child Protection and Permanency (CP&P) to celebrate outstanding achievements of our families, youth, and CP&P staff with our Annual Recognition Awards. With your help, we will honor the successes of the families and individuals in the foster, kinship, and adoptive community throughout the state of New Jersey. We invite you to nominate a deserving caregiver, youth, or CP&P worker today!
Who should you nominate?
- The grandmother who, suddenly at sixty, is starting over as a parent by raising her 3 grandchildren
- The uncle who opens his home and heart to the nephew he’s never met
- The youth transitioning into adulthood who, against all odds, is determined to finish their college education
- The foster mom who stays up all night comforting a medically fragile child
- The foster dad who adopts siblings, so they never have to live apart
- The caseworker who takes their work, and your family, to heart
You, your friends, and your neighbors in the foster and kinship care community are doing amazing things every day. We believe that commitment is worth celebrating!

You will be notified by embrella if your nominee is selected, and both you and the winner will be invited to attend our Annual Recognition Awards on May 4, 2024, at The Boathouse at Mercer Lake, West Windsor, NJ.
