How long have you been fostering?
How many children in foster care have you had in your home?
How many of these children (if any) have you adopted?
What made you become a foster parent?
The desire to help children in need; it’s still the reason I do it today.
What advice would you give to your fellow foster parents?
Keep working hard for our most vulnerable. We do make a difference in their lives.
What is the most important thing you would like the public to know about foster families?
We volunteer our home and our hearts every day to change the life of a child, while they, in turn, change ours.
How has embrella helped you as a foster parent?
embrella Recognition Events allow us to feel appreciated for all the work we do as a foster parent. The trainings have empowered me with information to be a better foster parent.
If you could leave a message in a bottle for children in foster care, what would it be?
“Do not allow negative experiences to make you bitter. They should make you wiser, and with that wisdom you shall find joy.” – Leon Brown
